If you're making a night of it in Franklin this Fourth of July weekend, we have a small suggestion: come a little early.
Downtown has a couple of fun events happening, and between the music, the restaurants, and Main Street charm, there are plenty of things to do in Franklin this Fourth of July weekend before the evening really gets going. Those are some of our favorite kinds of weekends here in Franklin!
|
Jim Brickman: Piano Sensation Live Friday, July 3rd at 3:30 PM · The Franklin Theatre A Grammy-nominated performance timed right for the holiday. |
|
Taylor Hughes Live Friday, July 3rd at 7:30 PM · Puckett's Restaurant, Franklin A casual show, no cover, that pairs well with dinner and live music on a warm Franklin night. |
We're right across from the Franklin Theatre at 418 Main Street, so if you're catching Jim Brickman, we're about as close as it gets. As the gift shop near the Franklin Theatre, we make an easy stop between parking and curtain time, with a few quiet minutes to explore before the evening begins.
What You'll Find When You Stop In
Every jar on our shelves is whipped by hand in small batches using simple, intentional ingredients. Whether you're stopping in for a skincare restock or a little downtown Franklin shopping while you're out, there are always a few favorites people come back for again and again.
Restore and Golden Tallow continue to be customer staples, rich and nourishing options many people keep on hand for everyday use. If you love something a little lighter or brighter for summer, Fresh Citrus and Peppermint are always fun choices too!
And if you're shopping for someone else this weekend, this is where our shop really shines. We've filled the shop with gift-ready options that don't require a lot of guesswork. Magnolia is a favorite for someone who enjoys a little everyday luxury, Baby Moon has become a go-to for new parents, and our Beard Balm has developed a pretty loyal following with the guys too!
More Than Skincare
One of our favorite parts of our Franklin shop is A Place for the Maker, a collection of handmade goods from artists and makers we love celebrating. Throughout the store you'll find ceramics, candles, textiles, artwork, and thoughtfully crafted pieces created by people with beautiful stories behind them.
It's one of those spaces where people come in for one thing and end up lingering a little longer, and it's where you can find something for everyone, even the ones who are hard to shop for!
Making an Evening of It
Franklin has a way of turning a single event into a whole afternoon, and this weekend is a good example. Catch the early Brickman show, wander Main Street while the light is still golden, do a little of the downtown Franklin shopping this stretch is known for, and end up at Puckett's for dinner and live music. We're an easy stop right in the middle of it all, and we'd love to have you in!
