A Weekend Getaway That Turned Into a Second Home
Flying Cow's Fredericksburg store was never part of the plan. In early 2020, not even a full year after opening the first store in Midland, Joshua and Britney Arceneaux were driving to San Antonio for a weekend getaway at Hotel Emma. Like so many visitors, they stopped in Fredericksburg along the way and noticed an available storefront on Main Street.
They mentioned it to friends over lunch, met with the building owner that same day, and everything fell into place. The space was beautiful, needed minimal renovation, and sat on one of the most charming and well-trafficked Main Streets in Texas. The owner was looking for something specific, a family-owned small business and Flying Cow checked every box.
Britney's brother-in-law Cesar, who had experience starting and managing businesses, stepped up to manage the new location. What began as a spontaneous detour became Flying Cow's second home, and the tight-knit Fredericksburg community has welcomed the store with open arms ever since.
What to Expect
Our Fredericksburg store carries the full Flying Cow skincare line. All handcrafted in small batches using ingredients from small organic farms. You're welcome to sample anything, and our team will help you find the right products for your skin.
You'll also find handmade goods from local artisans through our A Place for the Maker collective, including ceramics, textiles, and artwork each with a story behind it. Many visitors tell us it's one of their favorite stops on Main Street.

Fredericksburg is a beloved Hill Country destination with a 175-year history rooted in German heritage, craftsmanship, and community. Today it's known for its charming Main Street, a stretch of over 150 locally owned shops, restaurants, and galleries that draws visitors from across the country.
Our store sits right on E Main Street, in the middle of the action. After your visit, explore the wine trail, Fredericksburg has over 75 wineries, vineyards, and tasting rooms. For families, Enchanted Rock is just 17 miles north with hiking, camping, and rock climbing. The Pedernales and Guadalupe Rivers are nearby for tubing and canoeing.

Parking & Directions
We're located at 139 E Main Street in the heart of downtown Fredericksburg. Look for our storefront along the main shopping stretch.
Parking: Free street parking is available along Main Street and surrounding side streets. Arrive early on weekends and during festivals, as Main Street gets busy.
From Austin: Take US-290 West for about 80 miles. The highway turns into Main Street as you enter Fredericksburg, our store is on the right side, east of the courthouse.
