From a Kitchen to the Tall City's First Tallow Store
Flying Cow started right here in Midland, Texas. After the birth of their fourth child, Britney Arceneaux was dealing with severe cystic acne and nothing was working. She started researching tallow-based skincare, began making small batches in her kitchen, and shared them with friends.
Word spread. What started as front-porch pickups and Saturday mornings at the Midland Farmers Market grew into something bigger than anyone expected. In 2019, Britney and her husband Joshua built Flying Cow's first brick-and-mortar store right here on Wadley Avenue and the doors opened on November 11, 2019.
Since then, Flying Cow has grown to four locations across Texas and Tennessee. But Midland remains home where every product is still whipped, filled, and labeled by hand, and where all online orders ship from. This is where the dream started, and it'll always be our first home.
What to Expect
Our Midland store is the heart of everything Flying Cow. This is where our full skincare line is produced/handcrafted in small batches by Britney and the team, usually late at night with too much caffeine and loud Pearl Jam or jazz in the background.
When you walk in, you'll find our complete product line available to sample. The team is happy to help you find the right balm for your skin. You'll also find handmade goods from our A Place for the Maker collective. Ceramics, art, and more from local artisans.

Midland sits in the heart of the Permian Basin, a city with deep roots in ranching and oil that's grown into a vibrant community with locally owned shops, restaurants, and gathering spaces.
Our store is on Wadley Avenue in the Midland Park Mall area. After your visit, check out some of our favorite local spots: Far West Coffee and Twelve Gate Coffee Co. for a great cup, Cancun Grill and Opal's Table for food, and the Midland Micro Market downtown for more locally made goods.
For families, Centennial Park offers a playground, a dog park, a splash pad, and live entertainment the perfect way to round out a Saturday outing.

Parking & Directions
We're located at 4425 W Wadley Ave, Suite 180, in the shopping center near Midland Park Mall. Look for our storefront sign, there's ample free parking right out front.
From I-20: Take the Midkiff Road exit and head north. Turn left (west) onto Wadley Avenue. The shopping center is on your right, about a mile down.
